Prototec

Hey bloggers, I’m back with another post! From week 1, term 4 Rimu class has been using this website called Prototec. Prototec is a website we use almost everyday, It’s a website where you practise your basic facts. We practise basic facts like percentages, timetables, division and fractions. We practise basic facts every day so we can remember it really well and use it in our daily bases. Here’s the  link to prototec if you want to have a try yourself! Have fun!

  2. How wonderful to see that you are looking at different ways to learn and reinforce your basic facts knowledge. Have you considered ways that you use basic facts in your everyday life? For instance; if you brought the principal an apple 5 times a week for 8 weeks and each apple had four pips - How many apple trees could the principal possibly grow?

I look forward to your next blog post.

  4. Hey Emily,
I really like your blog post about prototec. I liked how you explained what you are learning and what you practice. In our class we also do prototec. We do it once a day so in total we do it 5 times a week. How often does your class do prototec? I also liked your bar graph about your prototec progress. Great job on your blog post.
